I value diversity approach my work with clients from a multicultural framework, celebrating and respecting client’s intersectional identities, and incorporating discussions about how clients’ identities may impact their life experiences and mental health. I take a collaborative approach to treatment, and view you as the expert of your own experience. I tend to be goal-oriented, and will work with you to identify what changes you would like to see in your life. I enjoy teaching clients concrete skills that can be practiced and utilized outside of therapy sessions.

Trainings

I attended school in San Francisco with the goal of obtaining experiences and training working with diverse clients who experienced a wide variety of symptoms. In providing behavioral health services in a number of different settings, enrolling in coursework that focused on the mental health of marginalized populations, and in working with many clients with marginalized identities, I have grown passionate about educating other mental health and medical providers about the provision of culturally competent healthcare. I hold a strong belief that all people should be able to access healthcare that is free from discrimination and in which they do not have to educate their own providers about how to provide care.
